Wills, probate and life
Grab hold of life – but plan
for the future.
Head of our wills, probate and life planning services… and miniature hat knitter.
“You’ll want your affairs to be properly managed if you ever become unable to manage them yourself. And you’ll want the assets you’ve worked hard for to be passed to the people you choose in an efficient and tax-effective way. But planning for the future isn’t a one-off exercise. Plans need to be reviewed regularly. Financial positions change over time with major lifetime events – like buying a home, getting married or remarried, having children, separation or divorce, retiring, selling a business, inheriting, or even winning the lottery. We can help you with all of this in a way that’s exactly right for you – just as we help people of all ages and individual circumstances. And we’re usually able to give a fixed fee quotation for our future planning and estate administration work.
PS… When I’m not at home being ruled by Lola, my feline friend, I love to knit! It’s often something that takes some people by surprise but I find it a way to bring out my creative side. I have managed to turn my beloved hobby into a good cause. Each year, in aid of the charity Age UK, I get involved in ‘The Innocent Big Knit’ where I knit adorable little hats to go on top of the Innocent Smoothie bottle and for every hatted bottle sold, 25p goes to charity. It’s quite rewarding and I like the idea of helping others – just like my job. Working within the Private Client department, some matters can be difficult for clients to deal with but being able to assist my clients through a tough time is something I also find very rewarding.”
