If a former employee brings a claim against you, it’s likely that the first you’ll know of it is when you receive form ET1 from the Employment Tribunal. If you’ve received one of these claim forms, contact us straightaway for support.

We can meet you to assess the claim, prepare your defence, conduct the tribunal process by managing the claim on your behalf, liaise with your former employee and their advisors, advise youon the strength of your position and whether to offer a settlement, communicate with ACAS on your behalf, and represent you at the hearing.

Cost orders are only made in a very small number of extreme cases – so regardless of the outcome each party will be responsible for their own costs.

These cases can be very troubling, and your legal costs shouldn’t be a further weight on your shoulders. So we’ll be entirely transparent about our costs – setting out fixed fees for conducting each stage of the claim so you know exactly what to expect.
